Los premios Emmy tendrán todo el prestigio del mundo, pero sin duda los Teen Choice Awards reúnen algunos de los mejores momentos del año en su irreverente alfombra roja. Unos galardones cuyas nominaciones son encabezadas por The Flash y Pretty Little Liars, secundados por otros grandes éxitos entre el público joven como Teen Wolf o The 100.
Todas aquellas series de televisión que no reciben el reconocimiento del "mundo adulto", lo pueden obtener en unos Teen Choice Awards que en esta edición llegan más ajustados que nunca. En la lista destacan algunas de las series revelación en lo que va de temporada televisiva, como el drama This is Us o Riverdale, uno de los grandes éxitos juveniles que lleva el popular cómic de Archie a la pequeña pantalla.
Unos premios que además han sumado una nueva categoría en esta edición: la Throwback TV Show, que sirve para condecorar icónicas series televisivas como The OC o Buffy Cazavampiros años después de que sus emisiones acabasen pero su poso siga muy vivo en la creación televisiva.
