Con unos ingresos estimados de 130 millones de dólares, Sean 'Diddy' Combs lidera la lista Forbes de los músicos que más dinero han ganado en 2017, en la que Beyoncé ocupa el segundo lugar seguida por Drake. El 'top 5' lo completan The Weeknd y Coldplay.

La de este año es una lista variopinta en la que Beyoncé destaca entre las mujeres, que han aminorado su presencia, pues en 2016 cuatro de los cinco primeros puestos estaban copados por Taylor Swift, Adele, Madonna y Rihanna.

La clasificación está basada en beneficios generados desde el 1 de junio de 2016 hasta el 1 de junio de 2017 y no resta las tarifas cobradas por agentes, gerentes y abogados.

Los datos de estos ingresos, que proceden tanto de la venta de discos y entradas como del merchandising y demás negocios, son obtenidos de Nielsen Music, Pollstar, The RIAA y fuentes de la industria.
